Prior to 2004

There was a lot of time, effort, and money that went into racing even before we owned our own car. Here is a brief history of how we got to where we are now.

This is the picture we saw on the Internet showing a late model for sale in our area.

To best prepare for driving an asphalt late model Vince attended both the Cale Yarborough and DriveTech driving schools. Vince spent a lot of time (and money) traveling to the schools as often as possible for two years renting cars and practicing under the instruction of professional drivers before buying his own late model. This picture showing Vince strapping into a late model is one of his favorite pictures.

The race car that started it all: Kenny's pure stock as raced at Learnerville Speedway in the mid 1990's. Vince started out as a crewman for the team.
